Alumni of the Wharton Business School & S P Jain institute of Management and Engineer by Qualification, Shital has over 2 decades of experience across “FMCG, Branded Apparel Business and Large Format Value Fashion Retail”.
Shital started his journey in fashion industry in the year 2000. As brand head of Van Heusen he led the transformation of the brand into Premium lifestyle brand for men women & youth.
Shital also worked as COO – International Brands & Retail Division of Madura Fashion & Lifestyle and managed brands like ESPRIT, Hackett London & The Collective.
In the beginning of 2013 he took over as CEO of Pantaloons after it was acquired by ABG.
After working in Aditya Birla Groups’ Fashion & Retail business for over 17 years, Shital joined Landmark Group in January 2018 as CEO & Executive Director of Max Fashions and Easy Buy India.
Currently, Shital is on a Mission “TO BUILD MAX AS INDIA’S 1st BILLION DOLLAR FASHION BRAND” in the next 3 years. In order to realize this mission, Max is aggressively pursuing expansion across physical, omni & online channels.
Shital has been awarded “Retail Professional of the year 2019” for his business ocumen and deep understanding of the apparel market.
